Blue Sky is a member of Nominet who is the main registrar for .uk domain names.

We can register the following types of domain names through Nominet:

.co.uk
.org.uk
.me.uk
.sch.uk
.ltd.uk
.plc.uk

The cost to register a domain name with Nominet is £25 + VAT which will be registered for 2 years. Renewals are charged at the same rate and again will be valid for two years. There is no charge for incoming or outgoing transfers from our Tag for our hosting customers.

If you wish to register a domain name with us, please either call our support team on 0844 700 2759 or email support@bluesky.co.uk and give us details of the domain name that you require. We aim to complete your request within 1 working day.

Once you have registered a domain name with us we will set up zone records on our dns servers:

ns0.bsky.net
ns1.bsky.net
ns2.bsky.net

There is no charge for dns publishing for our hosting customers, however, there is a charge of £60 per annum for up to 3 domain names for customers who do not have other hosting services with us.

If you require to make changes to your dns records, please either call our support team on 0844 700 2759 or email support@bluesky.co.uk with the details. There is no charge for making changes to your dns records.

Blue Sky will maintain a record of all domain names registered with us and an automatic email will be sent to domain name registrants prior to the expiry date requesting confirmation on whether or not the domain name should be renewed for a further 2 years. Once we have received confirmation we aim to renew the domain name within 1 working day.
