1. Fighting Climate Change (Theme 1)

Blue Sky Hosting Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050 in line with PPN 06/21. As a digital-first organisation, we minimise our environmental footprint by:

  • Prioritising carbon-neutral datacentre providers (Cyberfort & Equinix) for all client deployments.

  • Operating a Remote First policy, significantly reducing carbon emissions associated with daily commuting and corporate travel.

  • Implementing a paperless operational model and ensuring all end-of-life hardware is recycled through certified WEEE compliant partners.

2. Tackling Economic Inequality (Theme 2)

We support the UK’s economic recovery by creating high-growth opportunities and resilient supply chains. We commit to:

  • SME Engagement: Actively sourcing at least 25% of our own sub-contracted services from UK-based SMEs to foster local innovation.

  • Skills Development: Providing internal training and mentorship in high-demand digital skills (e.g., Cloud Architecture, Cybersecurity) to help close the UK digital skills gap.

  • Cyber Security: Maintaining Cyber Essentials certification to ensure the resilience of the government supply chain against increasing global threats.
