UK Domain Names

Blue Sky are Nominet members and can register UK domain names for you directly with Nominet. Nominet UK is the Registry for .uk Internet Domain Names and maintains the database of .uk registered Internet names. Nominet is not a governing or regulatory body, but provides a public service for the .uk namespace on behalf of the Internet community.

Our Key Terms

We charge £25 per domain name which covers a 2 year period; this is also the renewal fee. We reserve the right to charge a nominal fee for cancellations, changes of registration or transfers.

We will email the contact on the account at least 30 days before your domain name is due to expire. If you do not respond the domain name will not be renewed and will be suspended by Nominet 30 days after the expiry date. 60 days after the expiry date the domain can be cancelled by Nominet.

Terms & Conditions

By registering a .uk domain name, you enter into a contract of registration with Nominet UK on their Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration. Please read them. This is a separate contract to any arrangement you may have with us for the provision of hosting services.

SLA

Our standard SLA for all support requests, including domain related queries, is a response within 2 hours during business hours (8am–6pm Mon–Fri, excluding Bank Holidays).

If your complaint is about someone else's registration of a .uk domain name, Nominet operates a Dispute Resolution Service.
